I like the 1st round pick, but do we need a ILB? I think that position could hold off for a later round as a back up. and CB in the 3rd? I'd take a FS first. We have no FS at all. We are stacked at SS and CB (young and not matured yet) and I don't know that I would even do that FS pick so high. I'd either go(QB, WR, OL-RT/G), or I'd go (QB, OL, FS,) < the latter if we found a FA almost #1 WR. |

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
If we don't take an O-lineman with any of the first three rounds, we will still have significant depth issues up front. I'm OK with Barkley in the 1st round, but I definitely prefer Griffin.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
#1 pick of Griffin or Barkley (if a trade for #1 pick is deemed to pricey) I am fine with. ILB in the second is too early. We will resign Fletcher. CB in 3rd round is also a no for me. Idealy I would like to see #1 Qb #2 RT #3RG for depth if nothing else. This draft/offseason needs to be about landing us a franchise QB and shoring up the Oline...anything else would be very disappointing.

Why stop there? Let's use all of our draft picks on OL just for depth purposes.

Is Tannehill really a sleeper? He's got as good physical skillset as any of the top prospects, if not better, and he's plays in the college version of our offense. |

1-QB 2-OL 3-CB I would draft a CB with the 2nd pick cause chances are you can get a starter than a 3rd rounder (Barnes as an example).

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
Why isn't the QB from Okie St in the picture for us? The guy has a cannon and is 6'4". I think Weedlan could be a good NFL QB. Not saying we should necessarily put him ahead of Barkely or RG III on our wish list, but I haven't seen him in any QB prospect discussion yet, unless I bring him up.

I know it's age discrimination but I don't want a rookie 28 year old

Yeah not only that he's 28 but he's really not that great, good arm but can't move and makes bad decisions

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
I agree that CB is a greater need, but if Vontaze Burfict (the next ray lewis IMO) or possibly Donta Hightower are there, I say we get one of them. CB-wise, the only one that I want with my 2nd rounder would probably be Janoris Jenkins. I'm not that high on Alfonzo Dennard, Hosley I loved until he got compared to DHall, now I don't want him. Chase Minnefield is someone whose good but not great or anything.
