As far as RGIII being undersized he is bigger than both Vick and wait for it... Drew Brees. I bet alot of people thought he was to small to play in the NFL too, but he has broken passing records and won a SB. SO maybe size isn't all it is cracked up to be. Besides 6'2" and 215 is not that small.

He's listed at 6-2 but I've heard he's barely over 6 feet. Guess we'll find out for certain at the combine.

Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........

Guess so. I'll be honest his size does bother me.

Also TBH I don't know what to expect when we line up and play our next regular season game. As a Redskins fan I have never known us to have a franchise QB. Yes I was around back when we won the SBs but as we all know back then we did it with three different guys. SO I have no faith in the fact that we will get a franchise QB. Other than I guess Joey T and that was a long time ago, I have not seen the Skins with that kind of QB in the 33 years I have been alive.

So with that said, if the FO feels there is a player like that available, then go out and get him because it would be nice to have a player like that on our team.

#6 will belong to the Rams. We'll be drafting RGIII at #2.

What about Tyrann Mathieu? Hes almost a guarentee Pro Bowl CB.

We need talent. We should try an offensive weapon thru Free Agency.
I like VJ i think hed be a good Skin. Talent comes with an ego at that position, few at that position dont who are standouts. And we could use a standout in the pass game regardless what QB we have hell need help.

I can understand getting a pro bowler at any position but we've had top corners before. Heck we had the best corner in the game at one point. I want to not only get to the playoffs, but have the ability to win games when we get there and if it comes down between trying to shoot for RGIII and a safe bet like Tyrann Mathieu I'll take the potential franchise QB everytime.

Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........

I think that who we draft at #6 may depend on who we sign in Free Agency. If we sign Matt Flynn then I think we may just trade down and load up on more draft picks.

The fact that so little information has come out of Redskins Park about the Redskins' possible interest in Flynn tells me that the Skins might be more interested in him than we know. When Mike Shanahan drafted Cutler for Denver, Shanahan gave little indication beforehand of his interest in Cutler.

As for the young QB's in the draft, I see little difference in the skill sets of RGIII and Tannehill. The primary difference, to me, is that RGIII throws a better deep ball than Tannehill. The other difference between the two, in regard to the draft, is that we wouldn't need to move up to get Tannehill, as we would with RGIII. That would cost us draft picks. To me, at this stage of our rebuild, we need all of the draft picks we can get, so I think I would target Tannehill instead of RGIII.

Also, I'm not yet convinced that either St. Louis or Minnesota would move out of the #2 and #3 slots with Blackmon and Kalil on the board unless they received a bounty of picks to do so and I don't think we're in a position to offer one of those teams what it would take to move up.

To answer the question about what to do with the #6 pick: First, sign Matt Flynn and Dwayne Bowe in FA. Then, in the draft, trade down from #6 and pick up another 2nd Round pick. Load up on Big Uglies (OL and DL), DB's, and ILB's, and draft a developmental QB.

Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........

Here is what the Falcons paid to move up 21 spots last year:

In exchange for getting the sixth pick, Atlanta gave the Browns five -- five! -- draft picks: their 1st- (27th overall), second- (59th) and fourth-round (124th) picks this year and their first- and fourth-round picks in 2012.

I would be happy to secure RG3 by trading up to the 2nd overall pick in exchange for our 6th overall pick, our 3rd round pick, our 4th round pick and next year's 1st round pick. If possible?
