If the Fletcher deal doesn't get done are there any MLB's out there to replace him? 7 million is insane for a guy his age

Did we really trade 3 first rounders for number 2 pick? I love rg3 but that's steep. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do for your franchise qb

The NFL's a gamble man. I trust shanahan/allen with first rounders. Kerrigan and Trent look like great players to me. I think Griffin is Aaron Rodgers but with Mike Vick type of elusiveness.

According to NFL.com, cbssports.com, and foxsports.com, the compensation was indeed 3 first round picks and a 2nd rounder.

Technically, we exchanged this year's 1st round pick, and gave up 2 firsts and a second.

My take? Had to be done.

Explanation #1

We swapped #1's this year, people seem to forget that, we are picking RG3 you know?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Explanation #2

We moved from #6 to #2 in the first round this year.

To move up those 4 spots, we gave up 2 first rounders and an 2nd rounder.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Explanation #3

We got a 1st

They got 3 1st and a 2nd

Simple subtraction will tell you they got 3 extra picks, 2 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
WTF #1

Or.....Did we just give them 3 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder for nothing in return?

WTF #2

We just raped the Rams because our QB will be better than their QB next year.

I think that the Redskins have not been hot to sign Adam Carricker, because they want Paul Soliai.

Yes, but they intend to kick Cofield out to DE on run situations.

"insane, 3 1sts and a 2nd to move up 4 spots"

Or 3 1sts and a 2nd to get a franchise qb.

Lets say we don't do the deal. We finish about where we have the last few years in the 6-10 draft position.

That would mean (1) we sucked, and (2) are draft picks aren't going to get you the best qb available.

I can see no alternative.
