Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Better now than later in the regular season. The good thing is that they are getting playing time in the preseason and they are showing signs of being good players. Still, I think Amerson and Rambo may need a good season under their belt to be considered starters.

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
My guess is sexy Rex will be our number 3 man again this year. The D Line looked nasty but the Steelers have had O Line problems for years. If I'm correct they one their last SB with a bad O LIne.

Yeah where are all the Pat White fans today? Like him or not, Rex is a good back up QB and is a valuable part of this team.

Well honestly.....the duel between the two should be next Saturday Rex is a valuable piece of the team but he throws interceptions, and Occasionally there's a bad arc on Pat's throws. Should be interesting to watch...I wanna see Pat Play with the second or first team that is what decides if you make the roster or the Practice Squad. Also on the Secondary, I kinda would like to see Doughty and Crawford get a little more Playing time. Last edited by CASKINS; 08-20-2013 at 10:24 AM. |

Honestly...I'd trade a first for that. It's like a guaranteed 2 wins every year. That's worth a first.

I'm done with Grossman, burnt out by his supposed brilliance that turns to BS at any moment. Rather he not face the field for this team EVER again.

Grossman's best in two games was also against 2nd and 3rd stringers, so ... since we already know what we got in Grossman lets start PW next week. Let him start and play against 1st stringers using players that are 1st stringers so all of us can have a fair judgement and see how well he really does.

Obiously RG3 won't be playing. After last nights scare Cousins should not be playing so we have a decent starter game one if need be. Give PW the 1st quarter and give Grossman the 2nd. I still think PW is better based of mobility but if he throws another pick and the coach's know it was his fault then cut him and keep Grossman. If Grossman throws a pick and struggles but PW does not then that should shut up the nay sayers and Grossman should be cut.
|

No. Hank and Robinson have been diagnosed with bruises. Cofield broke his hand.

3. The Redskins have committed 18 penalties in the first two preseason games, with three unnecessary roughness penalties in the first half (two by DeJon Gomes). Even Fletcher was called for one, on the second play from scrimmage. Fletcher pushed Pouncey to the ground drawing the foul (for some reason, I initially thought it was the tight end, but it was indeed the center). As a captain, he must be more mindful of his actions. Nobody knows this more than Fletcher.
