Can you elaborate on this belief? All liberals I have talked to did not indicate they hate USA, so I'm confused by this claim.

Edit: One more thing I want to add - some of the people from all sides (liberals, republicans, MAGA, democrats, independent) I have talked to never gave me any impression that they themselves hate USA but have claimed to believe that the other parties hate USA. At this point, it is obvious that they are parroting their biased news outlets & politicans' lies. The only group that I noticed is often undecided about their feelings toward USA is the undecided group. So, sdskinsfan, I cannot help but wonder where did you get this idea from?

i have maga friends who swear liberals want to destroy america. i have woke liberal friends who claim maga conservatives want to destroy america. I believe there is a slim group on both sides that wants an america in their image. obama was on the fringe side of the liberal spectrum ("i have a pen and a phone" is the edge of saying screw a system based on consensus I know best) and trump is smack dab in the middle of the extreme right (see his pictured post from today )

We need to get back to a consensus government that can put a budget forth for all americans, laws that focus not on the extreme points but give the broadest opportunity for prosperity for the most americans.

To my conservative friends on here, I recommend following The Reagan Caucas on X. Solid Reagan based values that are not blindly MAGA.

I think my liberal friends could see value in following them too, if just to know not all conservatives have gone cuckoo.

The mind of the Trump supporter is a fascinating thing to witness. They just can't accept the truth. The 2020 election was the most contested election in our nation's history and it held up to every single challenge. This is not my opinion this is fact. FOX News is the most influential "news" program in the country. They have admitted to lying about the fraud accusations and paid out millions for these lies.

It really is amazing that MAGA wants to blame the Dems. The ACA is the law until it's changed. Pubs can't simply do away with it in a budget. This needs Congressional involvement. And if they think the Dems will sign a bill that does away with the ACA they are idiots and totally to blame for this shutdown.


And most Americans, even Trump Americans, are realizing this. MTG's departure from sucking Trump's dick is telling. 70% of ACA recepients live in states Trump carried in 2024.
