Haven't run into those yet, but it's nice to at least get an answer. All the COD4 Hack searches on Google led me to how to sites.

As for Battlefield 3. No one should be surprised. EA gave Dice studios a huge budget for a modern FPS and basically said "beat Modern Warfare."
EA Battlefield 3 marketing budget set to blow COD out of the water | Battlefield 3 Today

Quote:
The reported budget for the Battlefield 3 marketing/advertising campaign is $100 million, which sounds like a huge amount but taken into perspective it’s going to take some serious backing to knock Call of Duty of the top spot.
Keep in mind sales of MW2 were $400 million on the first day alone so $100 million marketing budget is nothing in light of the big picture. Be curious to see what they were spending on actual production. Though if MW2 is any indication it's about half the marketing budget.

The one negative is I hate, hate fighter jet sims. Hopefully that is not a big part of the game.

Based on how they do things I would guess not all maps will feature the jets.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

I was lucky enough get an invite for the Alpha test on PC and yes this game IS going to be insane. I love BFBC2, and can not wait for this release. It is somewhat different but in a good way from what I could tell. I wish I could have played more, I will just have to wait until the Beta to play, which was the main reason I bought MoH to begin with.

Anybody plan on playing on PC? My rig is not the greatest but did handle it well and 32v.32 has me leaning away from consoel on this one.

Dear COD,

I'm sorry, it's not you, it's me. I just want more. Sure, we had some good times. But times change, and so do people.

Peace,

it is funny how a lot of yo uguys are dumping on COD when a lot of the stuff yo uare looking for is in Halo. Halo is a great game, a lot more challenging then COD.

Nah. I'm all about military fps, not alien fps. I tried to like it, but again, military > alien.

Halo blows. Sorry it just does.

Thanks but I already found what I was looking for.... Battlefield is where it's at.

Nothing frustrating about it, just not into the sci-fi type of shooter. I've really tried to like it, just not my bag.
