He didn't embarrass Snyder he embarrassed himself and his players. Why can't people get this?

Did you hear the announcers say "oh that Dan Snyder really made an ass of himself this time."

No they were like that is the dumbest play I have ever seen and who was the person that called it Zorn.

He didn't embarras Snyder he truly embarrassed his players, which is truley sad.

Exactly. He made a fool of himself and embarrassed the entire franchise. He proved why he was NEVER a head coaching candidate. Snyder's implicated for aiding and abetting and known idiot.

i really don't get this whole thing on why people think zorn called that play in order to give snyder an FU. too me that would just be stupid on zorns part.zorn needs to show that he is capable of leading a team and has the ability to be a head coach in this league if he ever wants to be a head coach again. zorn had a trick play before half time in the first game against ny, this was nothing more than another attempt to get back in the game by trying to fool the g-men once again. this attempt just failed miserably.

I don't think he did. I think he was told it was his gig again so Allen could make his own decision and be able to say he gave him the last few games to show what he could do with the team. I think Zorn just likes to incorporate 1 or 2 trick plays in a game and he likes to try some of the old school stuff that nobody has seen since forever.

I'm not making excuses for Zorn. The game plan, plays, and timing of those plays screamed Zorn. It did not look anything like Sherm Lewis. It looked like we time traveled back to prior to our break and Zorn in control of everything. Which is why I believe Allen may have given control back to Zorn in order to say he evaluated Zorn on last yrs performance, this yrs performance prior to the break, and the last 4 games and decided Zorn was not getting it done in order to cut him.

Re: Report: Shanahan to DC done deal

When Danny Boy fires Zorn, he needs to be the one doing it. Allen can be there, but this is Danny's mess. Then Danny needs to admit that he has made mistakes and that he is responsible for the mess he has made of the Redskins. The team he loves, but the one he has dragged down to the pits since day one of his regime.
After that Danny Boy may start to reedem himself in front of his fans and future coaches and players.
We got Zorn because no one else wants to coach the skins and deal with Danny Boy. He has to change his image by doing things right.

Sherm was still up in the booth so unless he was sitting there doing nothing I doubt Zorn was calling the plays again. Plus anytime they showed Zorn you didn't see him calling plays.

In that situation I think Lewis isn't involved. That had the makings of a Danny Smith call that Zorn gave the go-ahead to. Smith reportedly has a reputation for drawing up insane plays at practice. Regardless, it's a moment that we won't soon forget as Redskins fans...unfortunately.
