Re: The everything Gruden thread

Just heard Cooley on a pregame interview. According to him, naturally he still has many friends on the team that talk to him straight. He stated the team is totally behind Jay, that they love the direction he is trying to take the team. They love his honesty and leadership. They believe he CAN get it done....
Love to hear this, especially under the circumstances we are operating.

It reflects poorly on us that he'd rather go to the Titans than us.

In other news, the notion that Jake Locker will wear the b&g next year has gained traction, at least in my head.

I don't think so. He and his wife have a strong connection the state. He likes the south, and it's just more his speed.

It was less about the organization, more about everything else surrounding it.

Fake punt on your own 30...1 for 8 on challenges for the year. This clown is clowning hard.

So who else is thinking there could be coach firings at the end of this game.

Raheem Morris, interim HC.

I was laughing at the thought but now I think that it is reality

That fake punt on 4th down was by far the most stupidest coaching decision I ever saw a head coach make. Gibbs, Norv, Marty, or Shanahan would not have decided on it. They would have punted....

Zorn might have okayed it.

Re: The everything Gruden thread

The fake punt would have been brilliant if it worked.

To me, failed fake punts are the least of our worries.

Other than this is the Redskins, give us one good reason why the coach of the worst secondary that any of us has ever seen should be named interim coach? To punish him, perhaps?

I can hardly wait until Raheem Morris is fired.

Re: The everything Gruden thread

coach is pathetic - can't win with any qb's. need to build o-line around williams, entire coaching staff, go back to 4-3 - draft ol,dl,db, s . free agents - ol, s cb, lb, front office, clean house, starting with Allen, get a coach who is willing to adapt his playbook to fit the players he has until he has the personal he needs to run it. At this point Morris as the interim hc, can't do any worse
players - cut - older players - make a youth movement, lets see what we have/don't have..... and start purging them in the offseason
