Holy shit, Philly gave up their 1st rounder and a TWO 3rds to move up there to get what no they're saying is Brandon Graham? Ewww. I like that for the Skins.

Not quite... Matthews is nasty if you've ever seen Fresno St play. Gerhart is a good player, but Ryan is going to have the better career when all's said and done.

why? gerhart played against two probowl lb's the last two years and played them very well, gerhart is gonna be a damn good rb

Matthews has the size, speed and burst through the hole that will translate to the next level. I watched quite a bit of Gerhart and he was excellent in the Pac-10 (saw him torch my Trojans last year), but I don't see him breaking away like he did in college. Dude's definitely a tough kid, but watching Matthews leads me to believe he's got the better upside in the L.

he ran a 4.5, matthews had a 4.45 so....

Wow, I think San Diego could have picked up a solid RB in the 2nd round. Still, Ryan Matthews was the next best RB.
