I agree the WR is an issue we need, it seems they would catch the ball and fall down, what happened to YAC? Moss is the best we have at that. I still hope we can re-sign LL (he just needs to stay healthy).

Do you think if we gain Thomas we should trade Hall and Moss? I still think Moss has some left in the tank. Hall??? He drives me nuts, one game he plays great then its like it gets in head and has a brain fart.... IDK.... Would love some consistency on this team, as I am sure we can agree on that.
My only issue is that if we sign T. Thomas for example, are we paying him starting CB money? Probably yes. In that case you have Hall, Thomas, and Wilson. Unless there's a change of mind, my gut tells me that they'll probably sign a veteran CB for depth and focus on getting a replacement for Landry.

In terms of Moss, he would be nice for depth I guess, but I can us keeping either Gaffney or Moss, but not both of them.

I think Gaffney would/is a good possesion reciever, I do believe Moss is more explosive with RG3 coming aboard, I think he would be a better fit for the team.

As far as the money with the starting corner (I know this is terrible) I really don't care. Dan has a boat load, as long as we arent strapped in the future. I would like to have all three.... let them fight it out in camp.

Does anybody want to see LL back?

Welcome, Jayroc.

I have no problem with keeping both Gaffney and Moss. I think we need to sign a #1 receiver (playmaker) and move Moss to the slot. Moss should do well there.

Three starting-calbre CB's would be a good thing, IMO. They would all play a lot.

I don't want LL back because he won't have surgery on his achilles and the alternative treatments he tried didn't work. I just think he would miss a lot more games due to injury.

It wouldn't totally shock me if Moss, Banks, Austin, and Armstrong were all gone

Wow, you think so! To be honest I can see Armstrong and Banks, the other would sure surprise me! Goes back to what I said earlier, sure hope Allen and Shanny know what their doing.

I know we lost one more game than the year before, however I do believe the team is moving in the right direction. I hope so anyway!

And Gaffney will change his number.

I thought Austin was going to be a good one. Sigh.

I agree. I really thought with our weak WR corps last year that he would step up, earn some pt, and maybe even get to be our #3. It wasn't that he didn't impress in games, he just never saw a lot of pt in games, and I'm assuming that's because coaches were unimpressed in practice. But either way, we didn't spend a 2nd rounder pick on him like we have on a couple other receivers, so it's no biggie that he didn't pan out. On to the next one.

Gaffney might not be willing to give it up so easily, I guess he's worn that # since high school. Though I'm sure he has a price.

Then it will be interesting to see how the numbers shake out. Maybe for an unforeseen reason Griffin won't mind a fresh start with a new number. Or maybe, as you say, Gaffney will get significantly richer.

he'd look nice in #6. are players able to wear #0 or #00 anymore? who were the last players to wear those?

Re: Redskins: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades

Moss: Has a chance to stay bc he's admired by teammates, coaches, staff but his role is diminishing

Banks: Barely holding onto a spot

Armstrong: I'm biased against him but he works hard. Will struggle to make the final roster though

Austin: Love him, but he's struggled and is another longshot
