Re: Kudos to RG III

I remember Tannehill being a guy that you liked and had us tied too correct?

In that scenario though I also think we just would have used the 6th pick to take him with no move up, and definitely not all the way to two. I think that was some of the things we were talking about doing back in Feb prior to the big move in March.

Getting that done in March before FA was something that you don't see on a consistent basis in the NFL, and it also took away two whole months of draft talk about what we were going to do with our number one pick.

I thought Tannehill made sense for us. As I understood it Manning/Cousins was basically scenario 1. Luck 1A. And Tannehill 2. Or something like that. Overestimated the interest in Luck, underestimated RG3.

Re: Kudos to RG III

From what we have seen out of Tannehill I could see how he could be effective in our offense, but at the same time he would have developed slower with us. Some of his early success I believe is that he is playing in an offense that is similar to his college offense.

Manning would have been interesting here.....

BUT I am totally happy, excited, and all the rest that we got RG III. Knowing what we know now I would have still made the same moves we did a little less than a year ago.

Re: Kudos to RG III

We can probably chalk up another rookie or offensive player of the week for him.

First rookie ever to have back to back 4 TD games.

Cam Newton was great last year and Andrew luck is also having a good season but what Griffin is doing is just sensational.

First Rookie ever to have back to back 4 TD games. Then after the Dallas game he goes and shakes the hands of the Ref and thanks him. Class Act.

Sanchez, Liehnert, and Palmer. Not exactly world beaters, and definitely not players I would spend what we did to get them.
As an NFL Prospect:

RGIII >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Barkley. Arm strength alone makes this true, he flicks 30 yard darts down the field with ease. Barkley can't do that. I will love M. Shannahan and B. Allen for the rest of my life for having the guts to go up and get RGIII. P.S. Cleveland = good job dumbasses! I feel so bad for Browns fans, they are loyal to a tilt, and constantly get the business.

Re: Kudos to RG III

Griffin III had a great game. It's mostly because of him that we're still in contention for the NFC East title.
