Wow, Congress is going to have a field day with this. I'd never thought I'd say this but thank you Ray Rice for being you. If it hadn't been for your knockout punch and the subsequent botched handling of the affair by the league office guys like Greg Hardy and Adrian Peterson as well as another 11 guys would have been well into the clear by now. After all its no secret that the NFL has been sweeping cases like this under the rug for years. I don't think I've ever seen so much good come out of something so evil. I mean we think about how the world is unfair and how the worst people get away with committing awful deeds. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but it looks like thats about to change for the better..

Kay guys Windows 8 is out time to stop doing support for Windows 7. Besides we could very well loose in week 3, I want to stay in week 2 where the Skins are not just winners, but 31 point winners!

Re: Around the League: Week 2
Good point.
I do however think the big sponsors like Bud 'sticking their nose into it' is serving to make the NFL take notice. Forcing the hand of the NFL to make changes. Before the Rice/AP shit hit the fan, I was surprised and little frustrated the NFL and the NFLPA have taken so long to implement PED testing. It has taken 4 years and they still have not yet fully agreed. They claim to be close and testing is supposed to start this season. I have a feeling if they start a really thorough testing program, one the NFLPA would probably never agree to, many players would fail. Is it a stretch...PED use...roid rage......domestic violence? |
