For the "no one wants to come here"

@AllbrightNFL
Confirms Russ wouldn't waive no trade after offers from WAS and Philly....

The Eagles have 3 first round picks this year and had more ammo than we had. Shows that Seattle wasn't trading Russ to any NFC team.

We've been such a shit show for so long, it really is hard to not take the most jaded position possible. That's Snyder's legacy. He has turned the fan base into one of the most pessimistic (justifiably so imo) fan bases in the league.

So even when things are 100% out of the teams control, lots of us just assume the team fucked up yet again.

I get it, but it is tiring when people start spewing opinions as facts or just pulling things out of their assess. And I mean mostly people on Twitter that are just making sh*t up.

Also the local media, who are supposed to analyze things, are just b*tching and moaning like fans. I almost turned off JP Findlay's podcast today because of it.

Twitter is a plague upon mankind.

I've never been a sports radio guy, but I definitely see how that would be frustrating.

I'm actually glad we lost that trade based on what the Broncos gave up. Maybe it works out for them, but they gave up a lot.

Sounds like the team made a more than fair offer and it didn't work out. Losing out on Wilson wasn't the team messing up imo. But I could see why others might feel differently about this particular situation.

Side note, I may weep for real the day that John Keim decides to step away from covering the team.

He and Nicki Jhabvala are probably the two most unbiased reporters in the area.

I think JP Findlay has been hanging out with the Junkies too much, he's starting to go the way of Grant Paulsen/Chris Russell when covering the team.

John Keim is definitely the man. He's my favorite for sure. I think that's why he is still with ESPN, because he is so well received. If he writes something, I assume it's true. He's not a sensationalist.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

@Schultz_Report
#Commanders have taken a long look at Jameis Winston and continue to have interest in the former No. 1 overall pick, per a league source. I’m told not to rule out a return to the #Saints either for Winston, who’s progressing off a torn ACL.

I'd rather roll with Winston and a rookie. Hell, signing Winston wouldn't rule out Watson either.

Also, are fans really turning up their noses at some of these FA QBs, when we had Heinecke and his noodle arm?

I'm biased as fuck, but even including that, Winston is a definite upgrade over Heinicke.

Rodgers is gone, Wilson is gone, Watson really shouldn't be here, the only actual good option imo is:

Trubisky/Winston and draft a QB at 11. Or maybe trade up to get Rivera's guy or down and get more picks and a Ridder/Strong at the end of the 1st.

Waiting until our 2nd pick is basically eliminated now.

Seriously, Im not giving up any serious assets for a late first round pick that has shown next to nothing over three years, when we can draft our own and give up nothing for him.

10 Years ago today wow

Cross Washington off the list for Peyton manning. Skins trade 3 first round picks and a 2nd rounder for rams #2 pick and RGIII #Redskins

Curiously inquiring...... What was JP Findlay saying? I thought at one point in time he was a good listen. Within the past season, he has been so so.

As far as Twitter..... It can be a good place for realtime news and even interesting dialogue. But far more times than not; it's a cesspool. A place where punks turn into obnoxious bullies. People directly targeting players, coaches, and whatnot. Spewing things they'd likely never say to anyone in person. It's sad. Unfortunately, welcome to today's society.

Ben Standig is great too, though I'd rather read his stuff vs hearing him on a podcast.
