Sam was a cool story being a 5th rd guy but he’s not a franchise QB. Caleb Williams can and most likely will be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Williams has shown red flags on his maturity ... plenty out there to read .. he seems to be on twitter a lot ..
all I can say is this new GM better get this right !!! And there is more to measure than physical skills alone .. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Guy relied way too much on his ability to run and struggling grasping offensive concepts that weren't RPO heavy. He was a 2 read qb 85% of the time. It's not surprising but if he didn't get hurt..... no one ever knows. He always was a primadonna and one that prolly just intellectually didn't care to develop instead thought he'd just beat the world in a track meet. Plenty of potential but to me I question the mental acuity and determination for the game the most

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
RG-3’s career was definitely derailed by injury and by the dysfunction of our franchise. He may or may not have panned out otherwise. Nobody here has any idea if he would have or not.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
RG3s rookie season was the funnest year I’ve ever had as a fan of this team. I’m 37 years old lol. So yeah I’ll always be a fan of his

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Same here. Gibbs 2.0 was probably the other highlight. Maybe the Brad Johnson year...
I did get to see the super bowl vs the bills and taped it and watched it a bunch. But I only recall like 4 games from that season, in flashes, including the game against the sheagles when I decided to turn my back on my family and root for the opposing team who's uniforms, colors and logo were Killer.... I would being playing tecmo super bowl at 5 years old and used to pronounce Rypiens last name as "ripe-win" .... because I was fuckin 5 lmao. Great times.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
RG3 came into the league with 2 bad knees and no ability to protect himself when he ran. It was when, not if.
Also Shannahans gave him a lot of half-field reads etc. Once the injury happened, and people got tape and realized he didn't read defenses well, and his dad came in to tell the head coach which plays he would and would not run :/... he did have 1 great year though. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I would very much like this.
3. Marvin Harrison Jr. - WR - Ohio State 36. Michael Penix Jr. - QB - Washington 41. Jordan Morgan - OT - Arizona 67. Patrick Paul - OT - Houston 96. Luke Lachey - TE - Iowa 100. Drake Nugent - OC - Michigan 131. Javion Cohen - OG - Miami (FL) 164. Jason Marshall Jr. - CB - Florida 195. Luke Reimer - LB - Nebraska

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I don't think he makes it to the 2nd though. I bet a team trades back up into the 1st to get the extra year (if he doesn't just get picked outright in the 1st). But that would be awesome value imo.
Harrison, Jr., McLaurin, and Dotson would be a pretty sick WR crew. Possibly Samuel too if they bring him back.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Ravens have been solid from top to bottom in every way. They don't like their OC, they nail a hire w/ Monkin. It looks like a homerun. We hire EB who is in over his head. We hire Del Taco, they got this guy MacDonald who looks like a HC in waiting..
Josh should raid their front office. I said a few years ago that we should give Ozzie a blank fucking check and let him reshape our entire front office on the football side. |
