Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
You say this as if you know for a certainty that this will transpire. What is it - Monty, Carter, and Haynesworth for Carriker and the Rams 2nd?

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
This propose might sound good, but who would we have playing DTs and LB if we trade them all? Carriker probably will take over DE but we can't expect to depend on Kemo- (I can't spell his name) and Golston to play DT all the time?

I hope the Rams add in a bottle of lube or that trade is really going to hurt. What a joke of a trade that would be. |

Montgomery did always seem to have his best games against the Giants, which could be what is driving the Rams' interest.

According to Jason LaCanfra: NT Howard Green is visiting the Redskins for 2 days.
^it's half way down the page. Post #11. The thread though is about the Skins signing DT Greg Peterson. Apparently drafted by Bucs when Allen was there. He's with the Jags now. Russell: Redskins will sign DE Greg Peterson - EXTREMESKINS.com |

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Our D-Line is looking pretty damn good now to be honest. It's definetely better the Bronco's going into last year and they ended up ranked 7th in overall defense, of course it would have been higher if they didn't collapse down the strech. Kemo, Haynesworth, Daniels is a very respectable 3-4 D-Line. My concern right now has more to do with McIntosh, Fletcher, and even Blades making the transition to ILB. Personally I would love to have Rolando McClain but thats just a pipe dream.

^^^^
It seems like every year there is a diffrent team with the same problem. I hope we dont do a stupid trade where we spend all this money and just come out with a second rounder for AH, He is a monster and if Shanny screws this up it's going to be hard for me to get totally behind Shanny. AH was a hell of a player and teammate last year.

If Fat Albert cant get on board the Redskins Team concept train. SCREW EM...I like Haynesworth as a player but, weve gotta have a good team atmosphere....
If the Rams offer Carriker and thier 2nd Round pick, Id jump all over it..... Im sure a good 3-4 OLB or ILB would be avaliable early in the 2nd!!!! |
