We really weren't that far off a win today. I know it sounds nuts given the score but we were there until the D got fed up mid way through the 3rd. We can take the Steelers game, THEN you'll get to ride him for a few months.

Injuries, poor undiciplined offensive line play, injuries, missed field goals, s****y officiated, injuries, inconsistent reciever production, questionable play calling, poor QB play, bad penalties and more injuries. Oh how it hurts.
How sweet it's going to be when we finally reach the top once again. I just hope I have all my teeth and I'm not wearing depends when that happens.

It seems like for at least a month now the majority of the people on this board had this game down as an obvious loss, even a blowout...considering that, seems a lot of people are really upset about a loss they totally expected anyway

Seriously though I really expected a little more out of the offense today than 6 pts especially against a D that isn't all that fearsome. I was really hoping that Gibbs would open things up a little more with PR starting and he didn't and I been walking around the house ever since with a Mike's in hand mumbling WTF since the end of the game...

Thats a interesting point Smootsmack. Today before the game I was hopeful, but I didnt have the bar set extremley high. As the game began though... that went all out the window because I saw we could play with this team, and did. Then there were some stupid things that just seemed like obvious adjustments we didnt make, and it really gets upset. In addition, the 7th loss of the year is always the worst for me, it signifys that were not going to the playoffs which is always one of the most depressing things. At least this happend before Thanksgiving so I can be in a good mood around christmas.

I'm going to go steal a beer out of the fridge and finish my economics hw. Try to wash away the loss with a cold one.
