With the benefit of hindsight, yeah, Shanny would like to have those two picks back. But I don't think many people around the league would have passed up the chance at a solid, Pro Bowl-type veteran who knew how to win.

And just as many probably couldn't have forseen how badly he's performed.

For an Arizona or Minnesota it would have made sense, not for a team like ours who was rebuilding.

While I am stunned that we didn't lose this game by 30, I am glad to see the team did not quit. I don't know if Rex kept us in this game or not, but either way, it sucks to lose to the Cowboys.

That's...disappointing. I'm favorably impressed with Grossman, all things considered. Let's see if he can do a little better next week.

I thought Rex played pretty good. He played much better than McNabb did all season imo.

Knd of validates Kyle's offense, still would like some more running plays though. The Moss drop though....

Man, that made me .

I'm going to try so hard to point to good things today, and truly I am pleased to say that with the exception of the Eagles (and MAYBE Giants) game we can look to a few individual plays that cost us the game. Many times when a team loses it's an overall team effort, but at least we're close enough that the next two years, if done correctly, can really produce a decent team.

No timeouts on the last drive kind of hurt us too
