Looking back on it, I still wish Gibbs would have drafted Aaron Rodgers instead of Jason Campbell. Rodgers obviously turned out to have the better career of the two.

Well guess its official, Peyton not close to being as clutch as his young brother. That was a horrible pick that essentially ended the game. Eli > Peyton clutch/playoffs

I think Peyton thinks too much and it hurt his play on the field. He had the Ravens D gasping in the 4th on their last scoring drive. Then in their next series he took the entire play clock to change playes when he just need to attack their D.

I love how the media is so careful to criticize Peyton. What a bunch of hypocritical bullsh*t.

Agreed, it would have had to been the Carlos Rogers pick because obviously Rogers got picked before Jason, still would have been the better draft pick though.

Take yesterdays game for example, manning throws the ball across his body doing something he know he shouldn't do, because 10 minutes earlier his ''vaunted'' defense misjudged a ball for a 60+ yard TD pass.

Brady knew his defense would make the Texans one dimensional by taking away the run and make Schaub beat them. So he already had a good chance of winning, just don't do something stupid, and he would win the game.

I firmly believe that if Peytons on New England in the 00's and Bradys on the Colts, Peyton would have 3 rings, Brady would have 1. Defense can dictate how a game is played by both sides.
I agree with your overall point (i think), but i disagree with your analysis. The Patriots D did not make the Texans offense one-dimensional. They did not take away the run. Tom Brady and the Patriots offense did that by scoring points, building a lead, and forcing the Texans to become one dimensional to try and catch up.

Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, and i personally feel he's a better quarterback than Brady. I think Brady's great, but he's been surrounded by better players and much better coaches his entire career. (I personlly think BB is the best coach of all time and that Tony Dungy was an average coach at best). If you putt Manning on the Patriots for the past 10 years, i think he has more than 3 superbowl rings.

still, its hard to argue that Manning in the playoffs doesnt look like Manning in the regular season. Year after year, he's nearly perfect during the regular season, only to make critical mistakes during the playoffs. Not sure why it is, but he just doesnt seem as sharp in the postseason.

Well thats a big problem imo. You are suppose to elevate your game in the playoffs and against stronger competition. I used to think PM was just better than Brady, thats changed.

I totally agree. It seemed like he was calling 3 audibles on every play. I still Peyton did what he needed to do to win the game and the Denver D threw it away with stupid plays.

Absolutely. The sight of this a-hole makes me rage. You can tell the idiot is on drugs.

What's with his antics? When a WR doesn't catch the ball or he makes a play, there's some kind of "cuckoo" hand gesture that he does with a blank stare on his ugly face. Is he trying to say they're "nuts for trying to throw his way"? He was doing that one all day long.

Then when he gets torched for a huge gain, he applauds?

He's an utter piece of garbage. I thank Trent for trying to deck his ugly mug after the game.

I was so happy that Atlanta beat them!

2013 NFL playoffs -- Brendon Ayanbadejo of Baltimore Ravens bashes New England Patriots on Twitter - ESPN

If I were Harbaugh, I'd fine any of my players that said one word negatively about the Patriots this week.

I'd fine any of my players who post on Twitter.

Didn't Ayanbadejo used to be their FB or are there two players with that crazy last name?

Was Sherman bitching about the timeout he called?

He's stupid for doing this, but he does have a point. I don't know why the best QB/Coach of this era have to do the things they do. But whatever.

No, you can't just appreciate both of them. You know, just like how whenever we have two good players in one position, you HAVE TO get rid of one? Come on SS, get with the plan!

Re: Around the league divisional weekend

So, be honest. Are any of you guys just a least bit jealous over the fact that the 49ers are utilizing Colin kaepernick in much the same way the Redskins used Griffin III this year with the option and doing it with the same success? I could just picture Robert slicing through Green Bay's defense the same way Colin kaepernick did on Saturday night.
