Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3

Anybody think we will draft a 3rd qb in the 7th or pick one up as a UDFA? I know we have plenty of qbs on the roster, but there are some really good candidates still available and should be later on. Rex is not long for the team, and neither is Pat White. Drafting a good QB who we could groom behind Kirk in case we eventually trade Kirk away might be something so consider.

I'm with you. There is value there but, the team still has needs elsewhere. I'm against having to ditch the read option plays when Cousins plays (yes he can run those plays but not as effective). There's no need to spend a pick on a QB though. Tebow will be available for peanuts soon...

I am sure he will go earlier than the 7th, but I think Matt Scott would be an interesting 3rd.

I LOVE THE AMERSON PICK!
I LOVE THE REED PICK!

I'm giving the Skins a B+ grade so far.

Amerson has size and speed. He could be a steal coming off of a subpar year.

Not only can he be a steal, he has ball skills that guys like Hayden/Milliner can only dream of.

ELITE play making ability. He could be a young DHall very early.

Also gotta love that we have a CB "prospect" with size and wingspan now. Given the ever larger WRs in the league, guys like Hall and Wilson just can't match up with a lot of #1 WRs. Hopefully with coaching Amerson becomes our #1 CB by 2014.

Let's just hope they both make the starting lineup. If they do they were good picks. If they don't then the picks should have been someone else. It would be nice to see Fred Davis and Reed lineup on both sides and create havoc on the opposing defense.

Look for the Skins to pick up a RB with speed and catching ability. It's almost a lock.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3

I'm kinda hoping we go safety in the 4th, and try and steal a reciever ala Josh Boyce and a quick running back like Lattimore in the 5th

Edit:
Nevermind Josh Boyce is picked
