WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021

If we come away from this off-season with a known top talent qb who, *cringing in fear* barring injury , leads this team for the next 5 -7 years then this will have been a successful off-season. If we don't, then no matter how many picks we avoided giving up, it will be a wasted off-season.

No matter what the cost, in draft or salary cap this year, having a qb that has the talent and wins games, is worth it. Sure I want the FO to be smart, if the asking price is 2 1st rounders, don't offer 4.

The only input Snyder needs to give is to say "yes" when Ron tells him he is getting QB X.

Given the massive eff up that happened with Haskins, I doubt Snyder is saying anything about the QB position. Plus Dan has other issues to deal with.

Snyder should have a ball gag in his mouth. I don't want to hear anything about him taking over the draft, or firing up Redskins One to chase free agents anymore.

That’s a pretty good package

Plan B:

See if we can trade up to get a QB in the draft

Plan C: Go for Stafford
2021: First & Third


Plan D: Go for Tua from Miami

Fixed it lol, drafting a qb could have stayed but eh, that's tough. The Watson package tho hellllllllll no.

This is an honest curiosity question. I don't even know if it is possible, but what about trading 19 for Tua which miami can add to their trade for Watson.

Would people take Tua for 19 or 19 and a 4th?

Last year Tua was considered one of the best QB in the 2019 draft. If we only give up our first draft pick this year, he’s still a very good prospect AS WELL AS Heinicke. We have a very, very good chance to get our franchise QB with either of them; WITHOUT having to break the bank!

Get Tua and sign Heinicke! Use the draft and FA to fill the holes:

FA: one elite WR, very good middle LB, TE, WR
Draft: OL (more than one), S, CB, WR

Where does this ridiculousness come from?
Miami isn't trading Tua for a single 1st round pick.
Even if they would, he has major injury issues.
You draft a franchise QB, you take the hard road which is the only way to long-term success.
We just set the record giving up on Haskins in year two. Tua gets at least a second year in Miami. Can everyone please put the bongs down and stop it with the pipe-dream trades that would be dumb even if possible?

I would do the gamble on that. Ideally I like Stafford but I think the price might be a bit high for us

Watson just seems so unreasonable that I can't even fathom it happening or what it would cost.
