With RB's, especially when they get in their late 20's, you have to look at it year to year. You can judge him off what he did in 2021 or 2022. His production fell off a cliff last year. Plus he lost 4 fumbles.

According to the pick value chart this is roughly the equivalent of the 95th pick. Late 3rd.

Good value.

78=200
152=30.6

230.6 total

102=92
179=19.8

111.8 total

+118.8

Pick 95=120

https://x.com/adamschefter/status/17...09813264?s=46” Howell is gone.

We got decent compensation for him too.

Another QB trade: Commanders are sending last year’s starter Sam Howell to the Seahawks in a pick swap, per sources.

Trade:
🏈Seahawks receive Howell, a fourth-round pick (No. 102), a sixth (No. 179).

🏈Commanders receive a third (No. 78) and a fifth (No. 152).

I will root for Sam for the entirety of his career. Hope he is the second best quarterback behind whoever we pick at 2 for years to come.

Adam Peters continues to knock it out of the park.

Re: Commanders 2024 Free Agency Thread

DE has some old guys like calais campbell, jadeveon clowney, or, you know, chase young :P

It'd be funny if we did the hockey thing where we sign young to 1-year deals and loan him out to playoff teams for picks every year.

And we don't want to pay him that much? I would prefer to have Curl instead of Chinn..

Chinn fits what they want to do, but Curl is so bright and versatile I am surprised they could not find a spot for him, especially at that price. Its not like they have better options with Percy Butler and Darrick Forrest, they are just cheaper.
