Then why haven't we signed them if that's the plan? I don't get the strategy of playing hard ball when we have so many holes to fill, money to spend and no first round draft pick... If they really want a player, we are going to have to overspend a little... We are a franchise in constant turmoil, a rookie HC and were 3-13 last year...

It's good we wait because the corners left will defeintely get less money than Verner.

How about Carlos Rogers? Familiar with D, can cover, solid with 49ers. Why not sign him back? He might have stone hands but can cover.

Whatever....
If Amerson finishes camp as a bona fide starter then this signing means squat.....

Convert him to safety and laugh every time he gets burnt standing right beside the receiver while he catches a touchdown.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread

is Quinton Demps a free agent? Michael Huff too.

Demps would be an amazing pickup more upside than Byrd with the right coaching.

How did he play with 49ers? He was pretty solid.

Former Texans TE Owens Daniels coming to visit us.

We could use him as a TE and let Reed line up outside. This would work very well.

Of all of the still-free CB's, we choose Tracy Porter?

I hope the money is small.

Um, no thanks. Been there done that. Rogers has limited ball skills. I like the Porter signing.
