Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
I don't know if you saw that game, but it was an ugly win for the Giants. The media makes it out to be like the Giants dominated all throughout, but no way. Eli threw two picks, that should've been four picks. The Panthers gave that game away with their horrible play in both sides of the ball.

Can't blame Romo, the play call should have been to take a knee.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
Dez Bryant is who I thought he was. An overrated prima donna that's been out of football for to long. Dallas passing attack is just as two dimensional as ours right now. We have Moss/Cooley they have Austin/Witten.
The answer to that annoying question asked by Cowboy fans all offseason is simple. Q: Who ya gonna cover? Who ya gonna cover? A: Miles Austin and Jason Witten How Dez Bryant gets more media coverage then Miles Austin is beyond me.

Ya, that calvin johnson catch call was strait up bullshit if I have ever seen it
that my friends is taking a rule literally, and not enforcing the essence, or, idea of the rule. As referees, you have to make judgement calls as well, and use their ****in heads...... |

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
I am syked, but my Skins sense (of olden days) is tingling hard. Don't get cocky, they have moved the ball, we need offensive points. Let's hope we can set aside a whole ton of olden demons (no defensive points Gone, No tds against Dallas Gone, blowing leads ...., not playing 60 minutes ....)
I will say I have a lot of faith that our half time adjustments will out match Dallas', just lots of past history in my mind |

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
The call on CJ was correct, it's the rule that's bad, but the call was right.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
D looks fine, but the running D needs to still shore it up, especially since we get to face that Arian Foster next week. The offense is better than Zorn for sure, but not full speed yet. It is the Cooley and Moss show thus far on offense. Portis is just grinding it out, but that isn't going to get it done. Wish we could just plant Romo in the ground. So close so many times!!!

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread
Am I the only one who feels that if that called back TD had been Brady to Moss (instead of Shaun Hill to Megatron), that this rule would be changed by the end of the week?
