Wouldn't read too much into it, she said that responding to a video tweet of a kid asking for WFT to become Redwolves, she replied "Adorable! (But personally I’m not a fan of RedWolves.)" .
They don't want to be perceived has having already made a choice. And she knew too much would be made out of her simply replying "Adorable".

Anyway, I would let Scherff walk. Can't see any surplus value in paying a guard $15m-$18m.

Bridges can be rebuilt. Most of his ire was toward the old guard that is now gone (not Scherff lol). I wouldn't break the bank, which he probably wants, but I would welcome him back if he decided to come back.

Our Oline would instantly be more formidable.

Even Williams is a retread.
We need to draft a young franchise LT who can protect our QB, whoever that is, the next decade. This is absolutely our single greatest long term need, outside of QB itself. What is the point of finding a franchise QB and then not having a long term QB to protect his blindside?
