Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason

No that's not Tony Romo with a tan playing defense, that's Jaylon Smith!

So now, newly-signed kickers and punters are being spotted with numbers in the 30s and 40s because numbers 1-19 are being taken over by WRs, RBs, and defensive players.

Going to be a mess...and a strange sights this season.

I hate it. Used to be able to ID a player you didn't know by their number, now it's going to make it harder to recognize a guy on D with a number like 9 because he could be a LB or secondary. Nothing the NFL won't do to make a quick buck though.

Texans are stockpiling RBs.

They just signed Rex Burkhead to go with David Johnson, Philip Lindsey and Mark Ingram, along with a few other guys.

I guess since they know their passing game will be garbage, might as well.

Oh my gosh...horrible. No cause of death reported. I hope it wasn't suicide, he had some issues.

He's a Warpath Legend.

I always wished he had more of a shot to see what he could do in the regular season with us. Couldn't have been worse than Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, Rex Grossman and John Beck but could have been better, or at least more fun to watch.

I read an interesting article, seems he got addicted after being in a terrible accident back in the day. Shame that one event can change the trajectory of a life forever. RIP.

Hurts dropping the deuce for #1 with Slay taking the #2.

Robert Woods

Sterling Shepherd

Safety Jordan Fuller

Mark Ingram

Zach Wilson not keeping his college #1.

And for our own Humpy, #10 was not available.

The Packers have signed Bortles. I can just picture Rodgers laughing into his beer.

Love and Bortles will be the worst QB duo in the league if Rodgers leaves.
