Re: Predict our first major player acquisition
Here is my wish list and not in any order
LB-Akin Ayodele WR- Randel-El [to much money]....Antonio Bryant [Gibbs makes him a star and he gets payback to Cowboys] CB-Ahmed Plummer G-Tonin Fonoti OT-Tom Ashworth DE-Aaron Kampman S-Chris Hope These would be great Redskins and all are good guys with the exception of Bryant but I think he has grown up after only four years in the NFL. I think Gibbs could make this guy a star! Yes I know we can get them all but here are some players that will make us great!!! |

Re: Predict our first major player acquisition
I dont see anyone mentioning Chris Hope, safety from pittsburg. he is far better than Archaletta(forgive the spelling) or Jevon Walker. We need a big receiver, not another 5-10 180lb guy. which is what Randel el, givens, ect are. Walker is like 6-3 over 200lbs and young.

Re: Predict our first major player acquisition
I hope we don't go after big name players. As a general rule, that's a formula for wasting cap money.
We need to find bargains. C. Griffin and M. Washington were not big names before they came here because both played on poorly coached, lackluster defensive units. Both are still in their prime and came in healthy. We need more like them. |

Re: Predict our first major player acquisition
My bet is that the Skins don't go for a WR in free agency. I think Al Saunders will want to add another pass receiver at the TE slot. There are several good prospects at that position in the draft.
