Re: Marcus Vick's new team?
I'm not going to waste time making excuses for Marcus. He's got pretty decent potential and will get his chance. The NFL is not made up of golden boys and a lot of head coaches put up with immature and selfish players. Marcus' struggles will be that people are going to expect him to be next human highlight reel, which he won't be. He's not going to make things happen with his feet when things break down. He's a much better passer than Ron but I think a lot of people won't be all that impressed by him if he doesn't display some that Vick elusiveness.

Sweet Grillz.
Honestly, I bet he would be there if he robbed a jewelry store and told them, "Make me a grill."

Right, and honestly while I may not like him, I'll applaud him if he can get his crap together.

Re: Marcus Vick's new team?
I don't doubt somebody will give him a shot.........Maurice Clarrett got a shot.........T.O. can always find a new sucker...........Ricky Williams was welcomed back after stabbing his teamates in the back. I just don't think he'll ever be successful, particulary because he's a headcase. You might be able to get by on talent and still be a headcase in many positions in the NFL, but at QB? I just don't see it. Vick can't be as good of a QB as PacMan is a CB because his position doesn't allow for success when you have your head up your butt.
He might get a shot, but I'm not so sure he'll land a roster spot. And even if he does, simply getting on a roster is still a tremedous waste of potential for a guy who had all the physical gifts for the position.

Re: Marcus Vick's new team?
The best thing you can do for Marcus Vick as a player and a person is not give him anything (that includes a shot at making an nfl team). Until he stops taking all that he has for granted, he won't be able to do anything.

Re: Marcus Vick's new team?
The best thing you can do for Marcus is treat him like he's not Michaels brother. Don't give him anything you wouldn't give any other prospect and don't sell your headlines with his name on it every time he does something that many, many other athletes do. I hope I'm clear in that I'm not supportive of his actions at all. I cheered for VA Tech when they suspended him. He absolutely deserved it.

Physical abilty: Definitely. Character: Absolutely not! Overall:No Do I think he will get a shot? Yes. Physical ability weighs more heavily than character does with certain coaches.
