Re: Post Game Presser
I don't want this to be a bigger issue than it should be. I called out Sheriff Gonna Getcha and I probably shouldn't have. My apologies. My sense of humor is about zilch right now.
Let's get back to bashing Brunell, shall we? |

Re: Post Game Presser
Skins and Denver swapped first rounders along with like a 3rd. So, when Denver makes the playoffs we'll get to pick at the bottom of the first round while they'll pick within the top 10-15. So, we moved back in the first round and gave up a 3 for a guy they NEVER put on the field.
Sure doesn't seem like they wasted money this offseason. I never thought the defense would get this much worse. Even with the injury to Springs. But I think not having anyone else back there with Sean Taylor is hurting them. If they were gonna sign Archuleta they should have decided to run the 46. He's basically a linebacker cause he can't cover...and he had some trouble tackling today. Aside from Archuleta, I said all along I didn't think the wide receivers would be well used since Brunell doesn't take any chances during the game until he absolutely has to. I think we saw today that those aren't even good decisions. I'm really glad the Skins got high character guys this offseason (crosses fingers that Lloyd remains one) because otherwise there're gonna be some TO like comments coming outta that locker room. |

Re: Post Game Presser
Actually, I don't think the Skins are a bad team. The talent they have, the coaching staff they have, they're a great team (except at QB). Trouble is, they are an UNDER ACHIEVING TEAM -- which is worse. Much worse.

I'd rather be a bad team than an under achieving team.

I might be wrong but I think that the 1st round swap is conditional, and I wonder if thats why were not playing TJ very much

Re: Post Game Presser
Maybe so, I don't even really know anymore. I don't know how big of a deal it is, cause it would have been nice to have to swap picks at the bottom of the round. Instead we'll move back almost 20 spots to get a guy they won't put on the field and won't resign at the end of the season...great move.

Re: Post Game Presser
To all,
I admit that it was childish and immature - I was pissed about today's sorry performance and it shows. Sometimes I make childish jokes and sometime people laugh and other times people do not. I am sorry if I offended anyone and I assure you that was not my intention. As Matty said, let's get back to discussing our team. |

Re: Post Game Presser
This team has lost its heart. They do not fight on their own home turf. At home they should have beaten this below average team by at least 14 points if they are as good as we think they are....problem is they are not. They lack heart and our defense couldn't stop my daughters 9-11 yr old flag football team right now. I think they might be the worst defense in the league at this point....even with Sean Springs on the field.

Look back at some of the old videos and look at the fire and confidence in his eyes. Now, we have a weakling who can't even bear to watch a last minute field goal. He's still got good player management skills, but winning in this league takes more than that. Kudos to the fat fuck Lenny Pasta for having the guts to predict the failure of Gibbs 2.0 way back in Jan04. |
