Basically it all depends on how bad the injury is. Culpepper shredded his entire knee last year and had no business being on the field week 1, the Dolphins effed that situation up pretty bad.

Of course McNabb's effectiveness will suffer next year, but in all likelihood he will have no problem being ready for the start of the season.

Re: McNabb Out For The Season

Redskins - Portis.
Eagles - McNabb.
Giants - Their entire team.

And look at what assholes have escaped the injury bug this year. Ugh. It honestly makes me want to vomit. And I try to not care about sports that much, but why does a team with a bunch of assholes have to be good. Sometimes I feel like karma or something is gang-raping me in a prison shower. Like, why can't they just suck and we be good for a change? But no, instead they beat the previously undefeated Colts, possibly have their franchise QB and a young defense that'll be good for years to come even if the offense won't. Fuck.

If we're lucky. We're letting people like Gradcowski light us up, why not Detmer or Garcia or whoever it is? Hell, we can't even stop Westbrook.

Re: McNabb Out For The Season

Now Aaron Rodger is out for the year also with a broken foot. Not as big a deal as McNabb being out I suppose but it even further delays his career

Well fortunately for the Packers Favre is ok and won't have to miss time. That said, I prefer Ingle Martin to Rodgers anyway. I was just talking about Rodgers long-term career. And with him hurt it's even more likely Favre is back next year.

I agree 110%. Does anyone else besides me think that THIS is what Limbaugh was mentioning when he made his "racially insensitive" comments?

He's great for the game, plays the game for the right reasons, and is a team player in every sense of the word, but if only ESPN and similar outlets would stop acting like he's a sure fire hall-of-famer, I'd be satisfied.

The lack of national media attetion given to Ade Jimoh just irks me the wrong way.

i don't think he has a long term career outside of some spot duty or clip-board holding. I think ingle is probably a better pro, after a couple years of learning, even if he was drafted a year and 5 rounds later.
