Re: 5 Bright Spots for the Reskins This Year
The only thing I have against Fox is all of last week's game. He looked horrible. He consistently got torched by Crumpler, which I can excuse, but instead of trying to make a tackle on the first big completion, he tries to lay him out instead of going for the actual tackle...he's Alge Crumpler! Also, he fell down on the Norwood run when he could have at least slowed him. If he makes that play, who knows how that drive and the game go. I'm not blaming the loss on him, but he had a bad game last week. Not that that should be all he's judged on, but I don't think he's ready to start just yet.

I guess dallas shouldn't have benched bledsoe until all their hopes for the playoffs were dashed... oh, wait...

Re: 5 Bright Spots for the Redskins This Year
Those guys have played pretty well but not well enough to excite me in the midst of a 4-8 season.

With Campbell it's more about what he represents than the actual numbers. |

Re: 5 Bright Spots for the Redskins This Year
Yes, deflect everything by saying someone else isn't a fan. Don't contradict the vaild argument. The fact is no one knew what JC and Romo were, they did know they weren't winning with Brunell or Bledsoe. What was the problem with pulling them?

Re: 5 Bright Spots for the Redskins This Year
So bringing up brunell isn't beating a dead horse?
And I brought up dallas merely to show that you never really know what could happen by bringing in some fresh blood. Look at what the ravens did in 2000; they brought in dilfer because tony banks was struggling and they won the freakin super bowl.

Like I said, his numbers is not what I was focused on or why I chose to mention him as a bright spot. And comparing Romo and Campbell is almost like comparing apples to oranges. Romo is a 4 yr pro, Campbell is essentially a rookie. |

To be honest I am not that big a Betts fan(Not that I am looking to turn this into a Betts thread). I think he does okay when the blocking is real good but he's nothing special. He usually dosn't break tackles or make anyone miss. Whenever I see him get through a good hole I find myself thinking how much more Portis would have gained on the same play. I agree on the others though...espoecially Frost...he has been a bright spot.

So if Brunell wasn't so bad, why did Joe bench him? |
