Re: Favorite all time movies?

Anyone seen the Royal Tenenbaums? That's another movie which I like a lot.

My favorite line: "Oh, J.C. was a carpenter." Owen Wilson is such a dork in that movie.

That lines from Meet the Parents, but Royal Tenenbaums is a great movie.

Has Old School been mentioned? I can watch that all day. I love the scene where Will Farrell shoots himself with the dart gun. I laugh...a lot.

D'oh! Please excuse me, I'm pretty bad with movies (and memory in general).

It's cool. I'm like Rain Man when it comes to movie quotes and trivia for some reason (maybe the lack of friends).

Plus, Owen Wilson is funny in both of those movies.

Oh really? Here is a quick test to see if you're as good as you say are. Try getting at least 2 of these:

1) That's no moon, that's a space station.
2) Luke, I am your father.
3) Master Yoda, you can not die.
4) Yippee kay-yay, mother f*cker!
5) Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of the women.

It's really a sad gift. I've been known to ruin movies for friends and family but I've also helped some of those same people win bar trivia contests. It's bittersweet to say the least.

For instance; two weeks ago I got into a big arguement with a friend because he thought that Andy had to crawl through 300 yards of shit to get to freedom whereas I (correctly) said it was 500 yards. But the very next day my old college roommate called me to help settle a bet, which I did when I told him that the line "We didn't have fancy birth control methods like pullin' out" was from the movie Dirty Work.

Re: Favorite all time movies?

This seems like fun. See if you can get these, AMD:
1. Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?
2. Cock, beer?
3. Shit, she totally knew I was high.
4. All right. I'll say it. "Cause Truman was too much of a pussy wimp to let MacArthur go in there and blow out those Commie bastards!"

Re: Favorite all time movies?

I know 1 was The Breakfest Club and 4 is Back To School. I'm not sure about the other two. Was 3 Friday? I'm so embarassed.

BTW, I promise on my old picture from Art Monk Football Camp circa 1992 that I won't look any of these up and act like I knew them.

I knew you had integrity. I picked some tough ones though.

1. The Breakfast Club
2. BASEketball
3. PCU
4. Back to School

Re: Favorite all time movies?

Damnit, I should have known that PCU one because when I turn on my cell phone it says "Can You Blow Me Where the Pampers Is?"

Now I'm in a shame spiral.
