You're right, it certainly doesn't excuse him. That's not really what I meant. I think RobH said it best, "if there's apologies I think banning would be kind of pointless. I think we've punished him enough."

That said, I doubt he will apologize ... he "stands behind everything he said." I don't like seeing people get banned, so I'm hoping he proves me wrong.

Seriously though, i think its kind of funny. I wish we could restrict his writing to one thread and we could choose to go there and argue. I wish there was a place where the banned people could only post and everyone else could post and read in too.

A ban of 3 months will probably have him not coming back again so, 3 months.

I said lifetime. I actually agree with him on his view of internet tough guys, but there was absolutely no reason for that subject to be brought up in that thread. To fly off the handle because of a joke, and then continue to act retarded after you've been informed it was a joke shows a lack of self discipline and maturity. And it's not like he's a 12 year old, so the chances of him growing out of it are small.

I think most people find it pretty pathetic when people try to act like a badass on message boards, half the time I just think the people are being sarcastic. The funny thing was that he said that stuff about 'internet tough guys' and then turned around and starting acting just like one of them.

We don't like to ban people, and we really rarely do. And when we do, they are given fair warning beforehand (both in the forums and through private messages) in order for them to correct their ways.

If this was an Eagles forum I'd say par for the corse but it a Skin forum and I said life time. Why do we need a person on this site that acts like this. I was really scared and thats why I did not post to that thread because he may have insulted me or threatened me with bodly harm.
