I think a bigger loss for the Giants is Lou Pettigout

Lou Pettigout was a big loss, but losing LUKE Pettigout hurt even more.

i agree with you 12man.
rocky is definately a player to keep an eye on. with washington rushing the qb more often and fletcher now our middle lb it will be very interesting to see how rocky does. and thats if he wins the starting job over marshall.

Re: Five Players to Watch in The NFC East '07 (This Isn't a J. Campbell Thread)
Couple of things.
Bobby Carpenter - New head coach uses a 3-4 that puts a premium on speed at the ILB position, so since Ayondele is OK and Bradie James is more mouth than action, I expect to see both Burnett and Carpenter vie for the second ilb spot. Carpenter can cover, and James is Roy Williamsesque in his coverage attempts.. Jason Campbell - full training camp as the Man, wasn't rushed into a bad situation, strong, strong OLine. I think the Skins are a playoff team this year. Defense bounces back from the horrible season last year, tho I don't see a run stuffer on your D Line...

The Cowboys defense was inconsistent last year. Carpenter and the rest of the defenders need to show up every week for this team to get back in the playoffs.

Re: Five Players to Watch in The NFC East '07 (This Isn't a J. Campbell Thread)
Very good post. With stuff like that, you should definitely post more often...
I have to agree with most of that. Cowboys fans are always quick to say, "Spears and Canty are going to be beasts this year!" It's YEAR AFTER YEAR and they always disappoint. And just like you mentioned, as soon as there was some film on Romo, he threw an insane amount of picks. I'm no NFL coach, but it would seem like he would throw into traffic quite a bit in the beginning and teams didn't pick up on it until later. He tried those same tricks later on and ended up throwing a fair amount of interceptions. While I don't know about the tension between Phillips and Garrett, I can't see why their defense would be top five all of a sudden. Again, first year in the system and much like the Skins last year, I can't see them putting up huge numbers building basically around Demarcus Ware.
