Rogers came up and made some nice tackles, which is the strength of his game. He's just still a below average cover guy.

He deserves credit for taking care of his man most of the time, but in the NFL we really need more of that from him. He's still getting beat far too much for comfort.

I'm still not sure what people are expecting from Rogers. He's not Champ Bailey, but no one is. It's completely irrational to expect any corner in the league to give up zero pass completions.

And what exactly did Fred Smoot do today to outplay Rogers? Half of the Dolphins offense resulted from pass completions to Fred Smoots side.

I practically crapped myself on the INT drop. Other than that, corners are going to give up some plays, it's the nature of the position. All in all our CB's seemed to be in bend don't break mode. I must say that I am shocked at SS not starting. What's the dilly yo?

Fred Smoot lead our team with int's just about every year when he was playing beside Champ so its not like him to drop those kinds of passes.

smoot is a mouthy bum. nobody would even know who he was if he didn't run his jaws, a la deion sanders, or for his hooker boat. At least deion was good at one point (although not for us). I was saddened when he came back to town. bring back champ or d.green for that matter; shut down corners with class!
