Both Gibbs and Saunders should be gone next year. Campbell, well, not many will like it but here goes, the man does have a cannon of an arm, but that does no good when he's completing passes to the defense. I say hang on to him for a little bit until we can acquire a truly great QB, either in the draft or free agency. And it is not our record that bothers me, it is HOW we ended up with that record. Yes, I know there are highs and lows in a season, the Taylor situation being uncontrollable as it is, all season has been a low. Now to really get people mad at me, if Taylor was where he should have been, he would have been at least on the sidelines today. I mean, these guys make millions of dollars to play a game. Part of his responsibility to the owner, coaches, teammates, and fans is to behave in an appropriate manner, meaning abiding by ALL rules. Gibbs had no idea he had gone back to Fla, because he wasn't supposed to be there at the time. I am not faulting him for his demise, I'm just stating if he had done as he should have, he would be here today. I do feel for his family, and had a few rough moments myself as a lifelong Skins fan. But emotions do not change the fact of the matter. If you make that kind of money, you do as you are supposed to, not as you want.
Except of course we did win that game

Given up on Campbell already?

And then I read the rest of your post and realized that you're not going to be a very valuable member of this board with comments like that

Re: Thanks Skins

It's a public forum, not everyone has to agree with every post on here, it's MY OPINION. Opinion meaning, what I think, I realize not everyone thinks the way I do, but more people then you realize have my exact sentiment.

To answer you question directly...

Given up on Campbell already?

Yes, in fact, I never agreed with the choice as Campbell for a starter when it happened. I do however realize we are working with what we have, I would just like to see us have better. With Snyder's deep pockets, we can and should have better.

I apologize if I offended anyone with my postings, but again, I am simply stating my opinion, backed by some facts.

You don't have to take every post personally.

Re: Thanks Skins

what was meant to be a positive thread? Thanks Skins?

Thanks for what?

Having a shi**y season, for giving many a game away, for getting our star player killed?

Ok then, Thanks, thanks for letting down a lifelong, born and bred skins fan. This is a low point for the team and fans as well, and if you cannot handle people expressing their honest opinion, maybe it is you who should not frequent this forum.

FYI - It's not against team rules to travel unless you have to be at a team meeting, game, practice, etc. Sean didn't have to be anywhere. He didn't tell Gibbs he was leaving, but he did NOT have to. JLC interviewed players who said it is common for players to travel home if they don't need to be at the Park or at a game.

Just to add to that

Injured players rarely hit the road with Redskins - Examiner.com

Again, it's hard to respect the opinions of those that don't have the accurate information to back them up

Dating back to last season when Campbell made his first start, he has 22 TDs and 17 INTs. And at least three of those INTs were of tipped balls, including today. Not great, but not bad at all considering he's barely started a full season's worth of games. A lot better than that other Manning kid, that's for sure. He has all the tools- size, arm strength, mobility, leadership, smarts, and the entire team as well as other teams and analysts all over the place are pretty much unanimous that he is a rising star caliber player.
But sure, whatever you say.

Now you're blaming the team for Taylor's death?

Re: Thanks Skins

Too bad we couldnt pull it off, we deserved it and it would have been a big swing game for the skins.

Re: Thanks Skins

Yeah, because if he HAD gotten explicit permission from the team to go back to Miami (which Gibbs certainly would have granted, but Sean didn't need to ask), the mere act of asking for permission would have protected him from the gunshot wound.

Stupidest argument I've heard made yet, and I truly mean that. Mike Wilbon thanks you for letting him off the hook.

Sorry, mc4dc, I saw that you wrote you still support the team. Good. But you should show it. And I agree. Michael Wilbon. I used to really respect you. Kiss my ass. Apologize.

Re: Thanks Skins

Well, I do agree with him that personal attacks aren't really necessary, though for my part I wasn't calling HIM stupid, just the argument he was making.

Still, I'm willing to bet he's sitting at his computer hitting refresh for the next two hours to see what kind of response he's generated.
