The Skins and Boys renew the feud.
The Skins are in if the Boys are subdued. So when the Skins get on a roll, they'll kick Cowvomit a@# back to their beloved toilet bowl. Skins 28 Vomits 16 GMAT _____________________________ I don't have stress. I cause stress. Joe Gibbs - 1976 U.S. Open Singles Racquetball Champion |

Alright, I think this is a game that will make us all nervous around the half, and than we'll pull away in the second against their second stringers and win something like 31-20. This will not be easy, but I think were playing good football, and like others have said, if we cant beat their second stringers, we really dont have business in the playoffs....If we see this team in two weeks...Than its going to fun.

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
I gotta say all the talk about them playing their second stringers makes me nervous. I heard on the radio that romo is playing the first half. T O is out, but crayton is playing i think and they're getting back terry glenn, who will be playing. They have some speedsters with hands at reciever and something like 11 pro bowlers. I don't think they'll be resting that many starters...
we're definitely going to have to earn this one, but we're at home and our team should be pretty amped...

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
I predict heavy blitzing up the gut.
I understand their starting center wont be starting...imagine landry on run blitzes and Doughty on 3rd downs. It would even be better against Brad Johnson since he doesn't move well. They will probably hold in a RB or Block down with the guards which could leave the edges open.... I predict the Skins deliver 4 sacks

well then there no prediction from me either, but I'm very worried this is a "trap" game. Were favored by almost 10 points, everybody thinks the cowboys will rest their starters, and so on.I just hope the skins arent buying into it and come out fired up for this game and dont think its going to be a cakewalk. The thing that scares me is even though the cowboys have nothing to gain they also have nothing to lose,so they dont have to play it close to the vest, they can take chances, fake punts, going for it on 4th down when they shouldnt, stuff like that.Either they play conservative so not to show their next opponent anything,or maybe they try a bunch of shit they normally wouldnt do to give their next opponent more to prepare for.Plus they owe us for knocking them out in 05. If memory serves, the last time we played the boys in a similar situation was the last game at rfk, cowboys rested their starters and we blew them out,but we had nothing to gain besides beating them, hopefully history will repeat itself and we can blow them out again

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
I haven't been able to make a prediction the last few weeks (and have been wholly satisfied w/ the results) and this weekend is no different. GW showed his genius last weekend and he'll have to do it again IMO to manufacture a W. He needs to develop stategies for both Romo and Johnson, preying on their weaknesses. Romo has been throwing INTs, especially under pressure. W/o TO in the game this makes for a huge opportunity. Johnson is typically too smart to throw INTs but can't run worth shit, also presenting opportunity.
So I still can't make a prediction, but I can say I'm optimistic - mainly for too reasons. Our offense has learned what consistent production is under the leadership of TC. And on defense, well, our guys are f'n flying all over the place. Hail Skins! |

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
Skins win in a nail biting, stress inducing conservative second half...as usual. For the fans: I want to see the stands bouncing up and down like the RFK days. This is essentially a home playoff game against dallas (and don't think they are going to roll over for us either). Fans, please don't drive your mercedes and lexi to the game, Don't drink your cappucino. This is a liquor and diesel game. Please be loud and get rowdy like we used to do in the good old days. I swear if someone asks me to sit down when we're on D and its 3rd down I really might punch them. And please give all you got to those shitty traitor cowboys fans that show up to the game. They deserve it for coming into our house in their disgraceful blue and silver. My blood is boiling right now as I think about sunday. I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight or saturday night.

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
A Team or B Team, we have to win one game. It's an opportunity to get into the playoffs and really punch our division rival and the best team in the NFC in the mouth. One game, one win.
With the wrong approach, we can lose to their backups. |

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
I love this teams guts...High on effort and less on talent. Talent will blow out some teams...but when tied in the 4th quarter effort and guts get the job done.
Skins 21 cowboys 17 skins start out behind but pull out the victory!!! |
