I just saw it go over the NFL Netowrk ticker. If this is true I'm not sure what to think.

Well I have to say another surprise HC. I would have never seen this one coming. I'm just glad this whole HC search is over. Interested to see who turns out being the Zorn replacement at the OC job..?

Or is this Danny looking to the future & thinking long-term rather than going for the splash?

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach

This is.... I mean, WTF is going on??? How is any of this defensible?? First we hire Zorn as an OC, which is fine, even though he's never been anything but a positions coach. Then we dance around the Fassel thing for a few weeks, blow him off for a bit to mess with Spags, Spags says thanks but no thanks... Then we hire this Palermo guy to coach the D line just b/c he's Vinny's boy and ignore the fact he's never even had a cup of coffee in the NFL, then out of nowhere Zorn becomes HC??

We're a mess. No question. The rest of the league is laughing at us. I don't know if I've ever seen a coaching search handled more poorly than this. Now who's gonna be OC? Did Fassel just decide he doesn't want to be a part of this circus and tell day to go F himself?? As much as we wanted to think Snyder and Vinny were being thorough a deliberate, it's again becomes glaringly obvious these guys are in left field. Go ahead and bash me for being negative and impatient. Fine. Has Danny given ever given me a reason not to be? This is bad. And Zorn may well end up being a good coach.Andy Reid was in the same kind of mold when he came to Philly. It's not so much the candidate that bothers me, it was the process. Vinny and Danny are joke. A friggin joke.

Who's gonna be the OC????

Unbelieveable......is there any way at all to remove an Owner other than us all throwing in cash for a Soprano's moment?

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach

All I have to say is WTF!? I was psyched about him coming aboard as the OC, but this seems like a huge gamble to me and comes completely out of nowhere. I totally don't know what to make of this. I'm dumbfounded by this whole search for the next head coach as it's become one giant roller coaster.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach

what does anyone think about Russ Grimm as the offensive coordinator, in the Bramm discussion/article he talks about some issues with the Cardinals over contractual obligations. Seems to me since this would be a lateral move, that the redskins and cardinals would have to work this out in order to get Grimm to run the offense.

Cool! Hiring from within. The classic mark of a well run organization. Mad props to you Danny for sticking with continuity!
