Take what Rick Snider says with a grain of salt. He has pretty openly stated in the past that he looks for ways to make Snyder look bad (he's much worse than JLC in this regard).

Another insider says Snyder and some players are upset that Zorn hasn't taken as much blame (even if it's not necessarily his fault) the way Gibbs used to do. But he's likely to get at least one more year with the team. But there could be massive changes with the rest of the staff.

I think there needs to be major changes with the rest of the staff. Zorn needs to delegate responsibilities better, but he also needs to do so with coaches he trusts more. Basically, it seems like anyway, that Zorn gives 110% in preparation every week, but whatever facet of the game he overlooks we simply get outcoached in.

I think that the assistants need to do a better job, or if they aren't allowed to do anything, save Snyder the costs.

I would start with a new Special Teams coach, promote Jerry Gray to DC and let Blache retire, also replace Hixon.

I think Blache and Bugel will almost definitely retire (remember Blache wanted to at the end of last season). Hixon, Smith, and probably Palermo will be let go. Gray will move up to DC. Olivadotti will take over the line or possibly special teams. Jim Lind comes over from the Seahawks to take over Buge's spot.

If the running game was our strength and we ran the Gibbs system with the WCO on passing. Then the most logical choice would be to bring in Russ Grimm not the Seahawks OL coach. Why change the strength of your team with yet another running game system?

I agree with SS. There will be a major overhaul with assistants this off-season.

I think Zorn has a future as a coach. Like another poster said, our problems lie with personnel. Zorn inherited this team, and as a first year coach, he's had great success with it. I give Zorn all the credit for JC's improvement.

That said, I wouldn't be opposed to hiring Cowher, because I think he'd have more influence over Snyder and Cerrato. However, if Zorn left and Cowher came in, I think JC's progression would be stifled. So, I wouldn't necessarily want to trade Zorn for Cowher. Ideally, I'd like to see Cowher as HC and Zorn stay as OC along with his offense.

I would be more surprised if the Redskins win another the game than I would be if Zorn gets fired. Of course, it should be obvious now that Cerratto is the one who should be fired.
