MJ was a star in every sense of the word in his prime. Before the weirdness, the man was wayyyy talented. I was a heavy metal guy/classic rock guy - and I loved Thriller and Off the Wall.
He had his issues, and regardless of the truth or falsity of the accusations against him, I wouldn't want my kids spending the night at his place. Nonetheless, probably one of THE most talented artists in musical history. Elvis, the Beatles, Michael Jackson. Pretty short list.

I say he's not really dead and is hanging out with 2-Pac and the monkey that our government "sent to space." You guys call me crazy but wait till next year when Michael suddenly releases a new album.

Childhood icons Ed M., Farrah, now Jackson passing, makes those of us who were young when they were in their prime take pause. We ain't gettin' any younger.
