Re: Week 8: Around the NFL

Man if we had an Offense, we could be better than most of these NFC teams

Well the SKINS won't be losing this week, so sit back and relax.

Discuss Week 8 games.
nice to have a week where the skins are guaranteed not to lose or at least not look immensely discouraging in a pathetic win.

Re: Week 8: Around the NFL

DeSean Jackson just scored his SIXTH TD OF 50+ YARDS THIS SEASON!!! That in less than 7 games. Too bad Snyderato deemed Jackson too small to be a fit in our WCO. Yep, Fred Davis and Devin Thomas have been a much better fit for us. We were an inept offense before they arrived, and they fit into that profile to perfection.

Let's not kid ourselves. If we had drafted Jackson, everyone here would have said we are so stupid to draft another small receiver to go with Moss and Randle El.

Davis and Thomas showed on Monday that what they need more than anything is an opportunity.

I'll be a Thomas and a Davis believer when they start making plays consistently. Thomas dropped a perfectly thrown deep ball a couple weeks ago, and Davis tries to hurdle defenders every other time he has the ball. Their inability to learn the playbook is what limited their chances to get on the field all of last season.

I get your argument about already having Moss and ARE, but who believes that they'll both be here beyond 2010? Jackson will be tormenting us for the next decade.

True, Jackson may will be there to shred us (and any other teams, for that matters) but we would have totally ripped Vinny and Snyder's heads if we drafted him.. Just like SS said, we already had Randle El and Moss, and not to mention at that time we had Hagans, and Elok (sp?) who all have similar frames and speed..
