Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
why do we want bradford who was injuried and missed the entire 2009 season. He is coming off a injury and has missed his entire senior season. Had 2 good years in college and we want to gamble our top 5 pick on a qb, what a mistake.

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
wHEN YOU HAVE MAYBE THE WORST O-LINE IN THE NFL YOU CAN NOT THROW THE BALL MORE THAN 10 YARDS BECAUSE ITS A JAIL BREAK. TEAMS ARE ONLY RUSHING 4 PLAYERS AND THEY STILL CANNOT PROTECT JC. DOES THIS CLEAR THINGS UP ABOUT PASSING MORE THAN 10 YARDS DOWN THE FIELD. WHEN YOU DONT GET TIME ON A 3 STEP DROP FORGET ABOUT GOING DEEP.

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
throwing the ball under 15 yards isn't campbell it's the wco, thats just they way it is run, thats one of the main reasons i hate it and hope we get rid of it, it's just shitty screens and making plays in space, it's not a big downfield threat

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
Whether we like it or not, you and I might as well prepare now for the Double-the-Shanahan (or Shanahan Squared, if you like) version of the WCO.

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
You need a QB who can run the west coast offense to though

Well you all can count Clausen out for the Skins.

I know I know it's PFT, but....
Keep an eye on Redskins and Sam Bradford | ProFootballTalk.com Some of you should get excited. I found the part about Bradford's doctor working for the Skins very interesting.

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
The Andrews' news has been talked about here before. And if there's one thing we learned so far through this whole Shanahan search is that he likes everything "very interested in the Bills job" "very interested in the Bears job" "Very interested in the Gators job" etc. Not to say that he doesn't like Bradford, and it does make a lot of sense. Just saying let's not read too much into it right now

I think the whole interest thing is to keep the media off his back about the Skins job which was probably already agreed upon prior to him talking to the Bills. Who did DS and Vinny go see in the college ranks? Which QB's? I gaurentee Shanahan said those are who he likes, so they went out to see them. |

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
You know, f' it. Let's go ahead and draft a QB stick him behind this line and watch 30+ million in guaranteed money go down the tube in a hand basket because we get him killed before he even learns how to play in the NFL. I'm all for it and hey at that rate we will get to see JC behind the same line and taking the same punishment all over again!
If you cannot sense the sarcasm I do not know how much more blatant I can put it. Placing a high profile QB behind this line is like parking a Ferrari in the middle of a highway. It is a stupid decision. Buy your Ferrari a garage first! Don’t worry, Ferrari will make a newer model next year you do not have to buy one right now. |

Re: Sam Bradford remains projected pick to Redskins
I think so to, but the quality is going to come from the draft. There are not many good Olineman that are going to be available through FA. Chances are if they are a FA it is because someone else let them go. No matter how many changes there are to the OL in the offseason, they are still going to suck. I'd rather get JC or a journeyman killed rather than a high profile pick.
