Re: More Motivation For McNabb
I'm not going to read too much into this quote, could be a sound bite from a longer statement in which he just says that KOLb is going to be just as good as McNabb.
There is change underway in Philly though, and I don't think they know how much of a leader Kolb is. He might take a while to grow into the role. I could see this team really struggling this year. I'm sure Kolb will put up some numbers, but that doesn't always equate to winning. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a bad year, go about 6-10. |

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
He could have just said something along the lines of "anytime you lose a guy like McNabb it hurts your team, but we have confidence on Kolb being able to step in and lead the team".
Instead he dissed McNabb for no reason and came off like a punk, whether that was his intention or not doesn't matter. |

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
But do you really think is a personal attack that ESPN is portraying it to be? Its just a bit over-hyped IMO.

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
His comments are definitely headline worthy. He really didn't leave much room for interpretation. Looks like a diss, sounds like diss to me.

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
Yeah I agree about that. McNabb said the right stuff.
I think he has reached the point in his career he knows the typical baits and he doesnt fall for them. Also he has bigger things on his mind, beyond what Jackson said. I think the best part of that interview, which of course wasnt noted on the ESPN article, was McNabb's answer to a question asking him if he wanted to be a Redskins beyond this year. His response was something like "of course, I want to be here for a while but I will let my agent work on that. I am focused on football".

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
I thought I saw McNabb in McDonalds eating some McNuggets. I saw McIntosh doing the same thing with CB McCauley. Can't wait for some performance based McNews.

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
LOL...we'll just have to see if Jackson makes it to the playoffs and the pro-bowl to see if the Eagles "lost anything, even with McNabb being gone."

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
I am having a recurring nightmare. It's the SB, Raiders vs Redskins. tied 14-14 with 4:30 to go. Campbell chokes, drive ends, 2:30 to go. McNabb vomits, drive ends. Campbell chokes. OT. McNabb gets pulled due to dehydration, Campbell chokes. By triple OT Goodell declares the first SB tie.

Re: More Motivation For McNabb
Hey whats up. My name is Matthew Hoffman and I created and sold the Trade Snyder shirts where he is holding wads of money and has devil horns and devil tail. I have a new positive design about the McNabb pick up! Its McNabb with the 3 super bowl trophies behind him and below him it says "Change, we can believe in!"
If you are interested please message me. I had to create a new account since I forgot my old login and I've changed emails since =( Plus I got banned for trying to cove this forum with Trade Snyder ads. HEHEHE But this design is SWEET! |
