I'm not going to be swindled again with the yearly Super Bowl Kool-Aid until I see us stacked with talent like some of the other teams in the league.

So far this year we have been competitive. I personally am going to enjoy that fact for what it is.

Re: Redskins
This right here is the reason I can't get to hyped over our 3-2 start. Thats why I need to see better football execution before I can even consider us a POSSIBLE playoff team.

Re: Redskins-Packers, Best and Worst
The Best: Winning a hard-fought game in overtime!
The Worst: Negative people who can't enjoy a win and bring me down by nit-picking the ever-lovin' shit out of everything about it. I am an unabashed Redskins fan and homer from the "Just win, Baby!" school of football. If our untalented but scrappy team manages to luck into enough wins, we'll go to the playoffs, as unworthy as we may be on paper. And I'll love it! Meanwhile, there will be some much more talented teams with cleaner uniforms sitting at home during the playoffs. Football is played on the field. At the end of the game, the scoreboard tells you who is the better team. The game isn't decided by who has the better looking roster. I know we're building and that many other teams have more talent than we do. But I'll tell you this: whoever beats us had better bring it on the day they play us because they're in for a fight. Right now, what more can we fans ask of our team? |

Re: Redskins-Packers, Best and Worst
Me keeping things in perspective does not mean I did not get a thrill from beating the Packers when Gano drilled it through the uprights. That doesn't mean that I'm going to turn a blind eye to all the flaws on the team Apparently, you all can't seem to get that.

Good knights do not flatter themselves with accolades they do not deserve.
