Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Empire Strikes Back, Inception, Dark Knight, LOTR trilogy, Aladdin, Kingdom of Heaven, The Avengers, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Lucky # Slevin, Se7en, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Willow, The Matrix, Indian Jones and the Last Crusade, Princess Mononoke, Sunshine, Stardust, Pitch Black, Gangs of New York, etc etc etc. Like others have said my list could go on forever almost and I can't believe no ones said The Princess Bride, but with so many good ones already listed and I'm sure plenty more to come, it's understandable.

Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Not many horror movies on anyone's list. No one's a horror movie fan?
Although personally I can't remember any horror movies lately that have truly left me going, WTF?

Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Yeah One of the very few times I've liked the remake more than the original

Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Agreed. I mean the original on top of having very early and poor special effects/makeup was apparently more of a political commentary. The Remake was just a pure unadulterated thrill ride with a plot that still made it emotionally engaging save for one scene that I could have easily done without (baby).

Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Saw it many, many years ago on late night television, and it truly scared me. One of the all-time great, and underrated, horror flicks.

I'd been thinking we've been losing ground to the French lately. OK, I went overboard... but it's my favorite genre. Last edited by itvnetop; 08-17-2012 at 03:13 AM. |
