If skins win one more and giants lose one more we win the east. But if Dallas wins out they win it

Like I said in the game day thread, I will gladly eat some crow here, because he did exactly what he needed to do to win. The first few minutes had us all nervous, but he showed an ability to forget about it and move on. The coaches definitely did their part in calling the right plays and helping him make adjustments, and it obviously worked. The Browns took away the run all day, and basically said if we were going to win, it would be on Kirk. And obviously Kirk was comfortable taking control and making plays, so kudos to him. With all that said, I think we'll need RG3 these next two weeks so hopefully he's ready to go. Two more to go, and it's unbelievable to think that if we win these next two weeks, we will be 7 weeks removed from being 3-6 and looking like a bottom feeder. |

I think we could get by with out RG3 another week if we had to. Hopefully we won't have to though. |

Re: Skins 38 Browns 21 post game thread
Maybe the most impressive/important win of the season so far.
- Took the whole team pulling together with RG out - Trap game...doesn't this seem like a game we would typically lose? - It's good for RG too, and not just time to heal up. He got to see the offense operate a little different and see all the guys step up. - Play-calling was brilliant today. Best of the season IMO. The worrisome things are penalties and (still) questionable pass protection. The penalties are kind a wtf item...Mike is known for running a tight ship yet we look extremely undisciplined. Talented, but undisciplined. And the pass protection sucks until we get the defense back on it's heals; however, today we showed this can be done without the pistol/read option. Play action, bootleg and play-calling were enough. If penalties/discipline and (early) pass protection improve I'd like to think we can compete with any team in the NFC...

Doesn't really make a difference in the playoff picture either way. For the wild card sure, but the NFC East race is in exactly the same spot no matter what Dallas does today.
We can clinch next week, but both Dallas (vs. New Orleans) and New York (vs. Baltimore) must lose to give us that opportunity.

First time you get a second round pick offered for Cousins you have to pull the trigger.
Anytime you can turn a fourth round investment into a second round pick based off a game and a half, that's highway robbery. And I like Cousins long term. You're just not getting a top 60 pick from a good organization for him.
