You lost me with Tyrann in the 3rd, to early for him imo. I don't think Duke makes it to the 5th round, but I like him a lot. |

NFLN's Path to the Draft is featuring the NFC East tonight. Sorry for the late heads up.

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
^ Armstead is perfect for our blocking scheme and having both Williams and he together would give us bookend tackles for years.

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
Isn't Monte Coleman Armstead's HC or something like that?

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
Correct MC is the HC there.
Marquis Goodwin is prob the fastest player in the draft.

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
The skins have no reason to trade down and acquire more picks that won't make the team. We e built up good depth the past couple years. If we make any moves with our 2nd round pick, it will be to up in the 2nd to get a guy we think can start this year.

The only pick I would question is Zeke Motta because he is probably too slow to be an NFL safety. He is a very good football player, though. Besides, doesn't Mike Shanahan reserve the 6th Round for his choice of RB? BPA in Round 7?

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
I don't see that happening at all. I mean maybe they'll use their 5ths to move into another 4th round pick. But earlier in the draft I see them moving down and possibly out.
I also see them going offense early

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
Offense early? Really? Are you thinking RT or a playmaker?

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
Curious as to why do you think they'll go offense/playmaker early?
Is it because of the way you think the draft will unfold i.e. a run on SAF prior to pick #51 or some other reason? It appears our needs in the secondary match up quite nicely with the depth of the draft at those positions. |

They feel the DB/S class is actually quite deep with the gap not being that huge between the 4th best and the 14th best They know they have no true slot receiver outside of the 34-year-old Santana Moss Evan Royster is the current back-up to Morris and he's gone from likely starter to a foot and a half out the door in less than a year And I think they're not being totally truthful about Helu's status I mean maybe they'll go DB in the 2nd and WR/RB in the 3rd, but I don't think they're going to go defense/defense off the top

And I think every team wants to give their QB more weapons. But, I think this draft sets up quite nicely to improve the weakest unit on the team. And on the whole I think there is much easier and nets a greater impact from improve upon a poor unit then trying to improve an already elite unit like the offense. |
