Re: Rams at Redskins pregame thread
We're going to have a real tough time blocking their line. Williams is going to come off the bus blitzing.

Re: Rams at Redskins pregame thread
This game is impossible to predict. Rams defense will be brutal no matter what, but that offense is hot/cold I think.
Just more concerned how we look. Need to come out sharp, well prepared and highly motivated. That's enough for me, win or lose. |

Re: Rams at Redskins pregame thread
cooley said colt did a really good job of recognizing and beating the blitz last week and double g may hold back some. he sd if RG3 was in there, double g would be licking his chops coming w every exotic blitz possible.

Some other moves made as well. Minnifield was placed on IR, with Miller and Kenny Okoro being brought up from the practice squad.

I too can't get on board anymore, it's just too hard to watch. After seeing the great things my grandfather did here in the 80's-90's with Gibbs and the old timers turn into THIS!? It's almost personal.

Re: Rams at Redskins pregame thread
Then....why in the world would you want to participate on a Skins board?

Re: Rams at Redskins pregame thread
The Rams are a good contrast with the Skins on how to build a team properly through the draft, building from the inside-out. Their D-line are all 1st round picks, and they may be just a QB away from being a perenial playoff team. They were very unlucky with Sam Bradford's knee injuries, otherwise, they might be winning the NFC West this year.

Re: Rams at Redskins pregame thread
I honestly think first round picks aren't the way to build a team...it is the later rounds.
I also think they are the most overrated part of building a team. Trade them all for 2s,3s and 4s.....it is a crap shoot anyway so the more we bring in the better chance we have of finding the ones that are tough enough and willing to buy in. from 1970 - 1990 the redskins used only 3 first round picks now they were good ones (Monk, Green and May), but the team was built on lower picks, and UFAs. It was the role players that made those teams - Wonsley, Cronan, Orr, and Warren...etc again, across the golden age of our franchise ... 3 first round picks. I would also say that was before free agency and the picks were worth more. Just my 2 cp. |
