Yeah same could have been said about Desean. Also he got caught smoking weed and drinking. Not whipping people with belts on camera. Anyways we have playoff game on Sunday- too early for this debate.

I'm headed to FedEx; first playoff football game I have ever attended.

DJax was nowhere near a Josh Gordon level nutcase. He had multiple probowl years, and was a proven veteran. I still think CK leaked bs on players he didn't like to smooth the way out.

Can't believe any Skins fan would compare Djax to Josh Gordon in a negative way

Josh Gordan is still under contract with the Browns so it's not like we can sign him as a FA. Same with Justin Blackmon and the Jaguars.

Id be shocked if he were still Brown after all of this. Just my opinion.

If Reed stays healthy - he will demand a large contract extension.

you gotta pay kirk. the only bad part about having a good qb is that they eat up a lot of cap space.

Just hope that Kirk is not a one hit wonder. Like RGIII seemed to be.

If Hatcher retires does that change his cap number.... as opposed to being released

No, same thing from cap accounting standpoint

Re: 2016 Redskins Salary Cap Status

I think Hatcher retires.

From the earlier list, probably can cut ties with Darrel Young, Paulsen, and Riley. I think Jackson and Garcon stay with reworked contracts.

Kirk will get a fair contract, but don't expect any low ball offers. The 'skins realize how important he is to the team, and I think Cousins wants to be here.

From what I have heard on the local radio stations, D Young wants to remain with the Redskins, and apparently is open to a reasonably low offer. I'm not sure if I believe that, but, that is what analysts on both 980 and 106.7 have said.

As for the other moves you mentioned, I completely agree.

As always, it's the market that will dictate D Young's value. Plenty of teams go without a FB. And he's aging. I'd expect a minimum salary deal, or close to it. He won't get more than $1.0M per season. I'm sure he'll take whatever the Skins offer.

Re: 2016 Redskins Salary Cap Status

DY really didn't get a lot of snaps this year and from my understanding Callahan likes to utilize the single back look. Also Gruden prefers the 2 TE set (his time in Cincy). While I love DY, I don't really think his return is really crucial...he may not have a spot on the field.
