Would much rather have wilson than rodgers. I love rodgers game, but i would be worried about retirement or injury more than i would with wilson.

I just dont see RR wanting to pussyfoot another year. Its year 3 for him, he knows how important getting a top 15 QB is. |

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
Yeah ill trade anyone for a quarterback. Including McLaurin. Love the guy, but where is he getting us without a quarterback?

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
Maybe, but isn't having playmakers to throw to one of the attractions in bringing a guy in? "Thanks for agreeing to play for us, and by the way, you have no weapons"

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
I thinthe QB hysteria subtracts from the fact that we had other significant weaknesses last year.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
Of course, but I don't think it's hysteria to say QB is by far the biggest need.

Just saying if it came down to having to trade McClaurin for one of them i would. Im sure either way if they bring in a big name quarterback that wr’s will be second priority in FA or the draft. |

finding serviceable to good players to fix those other weaknesses is infinitely easier than finding a franchise QB. So I wouldn't call it hysteria, it's just clearly a higher priority for fans and hopefully the team.' You can win divisions, conference championships, and even Super Bowls with stop-gap Safeties, MLBs, CB's, etc. The likelihood that you do the same thing consistently with stop-gap QB's is a lot lower.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
Wouldn't say it's been ignored exactly, we've drafted RG3, Cousins, Haskins, and they pursued Stafford last year... just have to keep swinging until something hits.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
One good thing is Ron wanted Joe Burrow (JP Finlay) and they wanted Stafford
Both just played in the SB.

Ignored was a bad choice of words. Last year they tried. You are right. Plenty of years though we roll with bologna. And DS calling the shots when it comes to quarterback has been disastrous. The Cousins debacle was disastrous too. Now that Ron is in charge of such decisions Im expecting better. |

There is zero chance he would over rule RR and this group when it comes to who plays quarterback. Don’t get me wrong, he will never change. He will always be a squirmy douche, but even he knows better than to play that game again. |
