With Taylor and mabye one or two more key dline we could have one of the top D's in the league. I hope with the better coaching that it happens this year.

Lets get through the end of this season and talk Arrington trade.
This is exactly how we should be looking at things, as with all the other star players we have who have been underperforming for the last two years (two years....what a coincidence!). Let's not trade off all our star players now, but assess the situation again in 12 months. Give them all a chance to play under Gibbs!

I agree, I would even say give them 24 months. You know, two years with the same Coach, yes it can happen.

I don't think Snyder has the guts to fire Gibbs no matter how bad it gets. I think the fans (us) put up with him because he seems to always do what he can to better the team. Firing Gibbs would be like the Catholic church giving the Pope the pink slip. It aint gonna happen.

I didnt mean get rid of Gibbs, I meant gettign rid of players after one year with Gibbs. Give the whole team two years to learn to play together.

are we serious here? trading lavar?!?!?!? he is the only star we have left on deffense and one of the top 5 lbs in the league, and probally the best outside lb in the league. is nothing safe around here no more? there is no reason we should be talking bout this! there is a reason we gave them this huge contract.

Well, Spurrier showed us that two years can happen. But of course, he only coached the qb's and receivers. So technically, Gibbs is the first head coach some of these guys have had in two years.

And Daseal - If they trade LaVar, I will personally hunt you down and kill you for planting such an evil seed (okay, maybe not kill you - just berate you loudly in front of small children).

Even under spurrier we didnt have the same coaching staff both years, expecially on defense which is what most of this thread has been about.
